Spread the seed thinly on top of high-quality seed compost. Cover with 1.5mm of compost and mist with a watering can to softly moisten.
When raising a few plants…

Two seeds should be planted in a 7.5 cm pot. Keep the compost moist but watch out for overwatering as this might promote the “damping-off” disease and other mould issues.
Remove the smaller plant after germination.
Once the tomato seedlings are large enough to handle, pot them on. By the leaves, hold the plants. Transplant them into 7.5cm pots with caution to avoid touching the stems.
