Great Lakes
Great Lakes is a heritage variety of ‘Iceberg’ lettuce with medium to large hearts that bears crisp, vivid green heads in 90 days.
Lettuce is tolerant of both heat and cold and exhibits a high level of tip burn and bolting resistance. Additionally, it develops broad, crisp-textured leaves that are crinkled and form a dense head in the center.
This type is simple to select and stores well. When combined, it is fantastic in salads, shredded, and added to wraps.
It takes 12 to 13 weeks from planting to harvest to reach full maturity. Size: 20 cm. 30 cm spread.

How do I grow Great Lakes?
Plant around 10 seeds per square foot of soil for this lettuce type, with rows spaced 12 to 18 inches apart.
When necessary, you can also plant and sow lettuce seeds into little nooks and crannies.
While it is true that this particular lettuce variety grows best in full sun, it is one of the few vegetables that can tolerate some shade without having its growth slowed.
Many gardeners think that soaking any seeds helps boost germination rates before planting. To do this, set the lettuce seeds in a well-lit area and soak them in water for at least 16 hours before planting.

“I have always hated bugs and how they would always mess with my garden. I found out about pesticide from a friend and it turned my life around. My garden is now “bug-free.”

“Very happy with the sprays. I used the poison for my farm’s insects. We were having so many problems with bugs, but then we tried this product and we’ve been bug free ever since.”
