How to use
- Wear gloves, goggles, ear protection and boots before you start.
- Mix petrol and 2-stroke oil at the ratio in the manual. Fill the chain oil tank too.
- Check chain tension: the chain should sit snug on the bar but pull round by hand.
- Start on the ground with the chain brake on, then release the brake.
- Cut at full throttle and let the saw do the work. Keep both hands on the handles.
Safety and maintenance
Safety: Read the manual before first use. Wear boots, gloves, goggles and ear protection. Mix and add fuel only with the engine off and cool, away from fire and cigarettes. Watch for kickback: hold the saw with both hands and do not cut with the bar tip. Keep people and animals well away while it runs.
