Sultrimix (Injectable Antibiotic for Livestock) is prescribed to treat infections brought on by both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. It is specifically recommended for pathological conditions due to sulphonamide-sensitive organisms. Sultrimix is indicated for combating: Pneumonia, Bronchopneumonia, Bronchitis, Enteritis, Gastroenteritis, Peritonitis, Mastitis, Metritis, Colibacillosis, Septicemia, Phlegmon, Abscesses, Wounds, Prophylaxis and therapy of surgical infections in livestock.

Composition:

Each 1 ml contains :
Sulfadimethoxine -Na 200 mg
Trimethoprim 40 mg
Dosage and Administration of Sultrimix (Injectable Antibiotic for Livestock) :

Administered by Intramuscular, subcutaneous, or slow Intravenous Injections

  • Cattle, Sheep, and Goats: 10 ml – 20 ml/100 kg bodyweight daily for 3 consecutive days.

Restriction:

  • Do not use in case of, Sulphonamide intolerance, Severe Hepatic or Renal dysfunction.

Withdrawal:

  • Meat from treated animals shouldn’t be used during treatment and within 12 days from the last treatment.
  • Milk from treated animals shouldn’t be used during treatment and after 12 milkings.
