How to use
Look for droppings, gnaw marks and runs along walls to find where rats travel. Wear gloves. Break open a sachet and place the bait in a hidden spot along the wall, in corners or behind objects, out of reach of children, pets and livestock. Check the baits every day or two and replace any that have been eaten. Pick up dead rats with gloves and bury or burn them.
Tips for best results
- Place baits where rats run, not in open areas. Rats move along walls.
- Remove other food sources, such as open feed bags, so rats take the bait.
- Use a covered bait station in poultry houses and feed stores.
- Seal holes and gaps after the rats are gone to stop new ones entering.
Safety
- Read and follow the product label before use. The label rate is the legal and correct rate.
- Wear gloves, boots, long sleeves and a face mask or shield when mixing and spraying.
- Do not eat, drink or smoke while spraying. Wash hands and face after use.
- Keep away from children, food and animal feed. Store in the original container in a cool, dry, locked place.
- Do not wash sprayers or empty containers in streams, wells or fish ponds.
