This digital pH meter is a small pen-type tester for water-based solutions. It reads the full 0-14 pH range with 0.01 pH accuracy and corrects for temperature automatically (ATC). Fish farmers use it to check pond and tank water, and growers use it for hydroponic and nutrient mixes, drinking water and spray water. It comes pre-calibrated, so you can use it straight away. It is for basic tests, not heavy industrial use.

How to use
- Remove the protective cap and press ON/OFF.
- Dip the glass probe into the water sample.
- Stir gently and wait about 30 seconds for the reading to settle.
- Rinse the probe with distilled or clean water, dry it gently with a soft tissue and replace the cap.
Safety and maintenance
- The glass probe is delicate. Do not knock it or let it dry out for long periods.
- Recalibrate regularly with buffer solution as the manual explains.
- Keep it out of strong acids, oils and very hot liquids above 60 °C.
Frequently asked questions
What pH is good for catfish or tilapia ponds?
Most fish farmers aim for water around pH 6.5-8.5. Test at the same time each day, because pH changes between morning and evening.
Do I need to calibrate it before first use?
No. It comes pre-calibrated. Recalibrate from time to time using the steps in the manual.
Can it test soil pH?
Not directly. Mix soil with distilled water, let it settle, then test the water part. For regular soil testing, a soil pH meter is easier.
Is it waterproof?
Only the probe end should go into the liquid. Do not drop the whole meter in water.
