Golden NPK 20-10-10 is a compound fertilizer with 20% nitrogen, 10% phosphate and 10% potash in every granule. The high nitrogen drives leafy, green growth, while phosphate supports roots and flowering and potash improves overall plant health and grain or fruit filling. It is a good all-round fertilizer for cereals, vegetables and young plantation crops.

How to apply
Apply in a ring or band 5 to 10 cm away from the plant and cover with soil, or broadcast before planting and mix into the soil. For maize, a common practice is to apply at 2 to 3 weeks after planting and top-dress with urea later. Rates depend on your soil and crop. A soil test gives the best result.
What the numbers mean
The three numbers are the percentage of nitrogen (N), phosphate (P2O5) and potash (K2O). A 50 kg bag of NPK 20-10-10 contains about 10 kg of nitrogen, 5 kg of phosphate and 5 kg of potash.
