Morigad Germicide is a multi-purpose disinfectant for farm biosecurity. Its active ingredients are dichloroxylenol and chlorophenol. It acts against bacteria, fungi, yeasts, protozoa and some viruses, and it keeps working in the presence of blood, faeces, urine and other dirt. How to use
Remove birds or animals if your cleaning plan requires it. Scrape out litter, manure and feed waste, then wash surfaces with water and detergent. Dilute Morigad at the rate on the label and apply with a knapsack or pressure sprayer, or fill footbaths at the label dilution. Let surfaces dry before you bring animals back. Change footbath solution when it becomes dirty.
Tips for best results
- Clean first, then disinfect. Heavy dirt shields germs.
- Disinfect between batches of birds, during the empty period.
- Place footbaths at every pen entrance and make all visitors use them.
- Use water for drinkers only if the label approves that use.

- Do not eat, drink or smoke while spraying. Wash hands and face after use.

Can I spray Morigad with birds inside the pen?
Follow the label. Most farms spray empty, cleaned houses between flocks. Only use it around live birds if the label allows that method and dilution.
How long will a 4L can last?
It depends on the dilution rate on the label and the size of your pens. Because it is diluted in water, one can makes many litres of working solution.
Is Morigad good for footbaths?
Yes. It is listed for footbath use. Change the solution often, because manure and mud reduce its strength.
Does it work on dirty floors?
It is made to hold its activity in the presence of organic matter, but you will get the best result if you remove manure and litter first.
