Ampligo is a broad-spectrum insecticide made mainly for caterpillar pests (lepidoptera). It combines two insecticides with different modes of action, one of them a pyrethroid, so it gives quick knockdown and longer protection. Check the label for the exact active ingredients. It is used against armyworms, corn earworm, tomato fruit worm, beet armyworm, cabbage caterpillars and stem borers on maize, rice, tomato and other vegetables. It suits commercial growers who need strong caterpillar control.
