Guardian Xtra Fungicide (Carbendazim)

Guardian Xtra is a broad-spectrum systemic fungicide based on carbendazim. The plant takes it up and moves it towards the leaves, so it protects new tissue and can stop early infections. It stops fungal germ tubes and mycelium from growing. Farmers use it on onion, tomato, beans, citrus, pineapple and cabbage against botrytis grey mould, sclerotinia rot, blue mould and similar diseases. It is a fast, low-cost option for vegetable and fruit growers.

Can Guardian Xtra control onion leaf diseases?
Yes. Onion is one of its main crops. Start spraying early in the wet season.

Can I mix Guardian Xtra with my insecticide?
Usually yes, as it is compatible with most agrochemicals. Do not mix with alkaline products, and do a small jar test first.
