Cabbage Planting and Spacing
In the nursery bed that has been created, sow cabbage seeds 12 inch deep and spaced 1 inch apart.
When plants are 4 to 6 weeks old and have 4 to 5 genuine leaves, transplant cabbage into the garden.
Bury the main stem 1 to 2 inches deep when transplanting. Even just below the top two pairs of leaves, you can bury.
Rows should be spaced 24 to 36 inches apart, with seedlings 18 to 24 inches apart. Avoid closer spacing to prevent smaller mature head sizes.
Regarding Cabbage
Every 4-5 days, but every 2 days in extremely hot weather, water the plant.
To avoid water falling on the foliage, pour water immediately under the root.
After watering, loosen the soil to allow the plants to absorb rainwater and beneficial trace elements more readily.
