Tihan is a Bayer insecticide with spirotetramat 75 g/L and flubendiamide 100 g/L in an oil dispersion that sticks well to leaves. Flubendiamide paralyses caterpillars quickly by acting on their muscles; spirotetramat is systemic and stops young sucking insects from building fat, so they die. Together they control Tuta absoluta, tomato hornworm, leaf miners and other caterpillars, plus whiteflies, aphids and mites on tomato, cucumber, carrot, cowpea and cotton.
