Kori F1 is a hybrid red bell pepper from Royal Seeds. It gives blocky, thick-walled sweet peppers of about 180-190 g that turn quickly from green to bright red. How to plant
- Sow in nursery trays, about 0.5-1 cm deep, under shade. Keep moist.
- Transplant after 5-6 weeks, when seedlings have 5-6 true leaves.
- Space about 40-50 cm between plants and 60-75 cm between rows. In greenhouses, follow the house layout for double rows.
- Plant in the dry season under protection, or early in the rains in the open field.
Care after planting
- Water evenly; drip irrigation is best for peppers.
- Feed regularly. Add calcium and potassium during fruiting to prevent blossom-end rot and improve colour.
- Stake or string plants so heavy fruit loads do not break branches.
- Leave fruits to turn fully red for the red-pepper market. Feed again after the first harvest to support the next flush.
